Nottingham offers a variety of different places for students to living, each offering a unique perspective of the the city.
Dunkirk
This area is right next to the entrance to the UON Park Campus and is just across the road from the QMC hospital, making it the perfect place for medical / nursing students. The area is a stone's throw away from the QMC tram stop, with great links into the city centre.

Radford
This area is popular with both University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University students. Properties here are great value for money and the Radford retail park has everything to offer – Aldi, Gym, B&M and Home Sense. There are good transport links into the city via buses and the tram, but it’s also not too far to walk either.

Arboretum
A top area for NTU students due to the closeness of the City campus and the city centre in walking distance. The Arboretum park is here - all the green space you want. The tram line runs through the Arboretum too but it’s only a 7-10 min walk to the city. Most lets here are off Waverley Street or Alfreton Road - where you’ll find shops, bars and takeaways.

Beeston
This area is up-and-coming and popular with UON students and postgraduate or international students. It’s a 10-minute walk to Broadgate park and the area also has its own little town - bars, restaurants and a large Tesco. Also great transport links into QMC and the City Centre via the tram.

Lenton
A UON student area. Properties are mostly off Derby Road and Lenton Boulevard. Close to the Jubilee campus (7-10 min walk) and the Park Campus (20 min walk). A 5-10 min walk the other way to Canning Circus - plenty of pubs and the Uni2 Rent office! A further 7-8 min walk to the City. All the bus routes into QMC hospital - great for medical students.

Forest Fields
Popular with NTU students due to closeness to the Arboretum park and the tram link direct into the city. With all the local amenities including an ASDA supermarket, you’ll find lots of students here. Forest Fields has a big recreation ground (the Forest Rec), where Nottingham’s famous annual Goose Fair is held!

West Bridgford
A leafy-suburb with a lively little high street. Lots of families here but still popular with NTU Clifton campus students - being half-way between the city and the NTU Clifton campus. You’ll find streets of Victorian houses and all the nice scenery around the River Trent. On the main Avenue there are shops, cafes and bars - a great location and not far from the city.

City Centre
Predominantly an NTU area for their city campus but also for UON students wanting to be in the hub of the city. Living in the city speaks for itself, close to the Victoria Centre for all the high-street shopping and restaurants you need and just a 5-7 minute walk into Nottingham Trent campus. All the transport links - as you would expect with a city location.
